Mission
The Missouri National Guard Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) is dedicated to fostering a climate of trust and respect, preventing sexual assault within our ranks, and providing comprehensive, compassionate support and advocacy for all Missouri National Guard members affected by sexual assault. We are committed to enabling readiness through the prevention of sexual assault and ensuring survivors receive the care and resources necessary for healing and recovery – anytime, anywhere, and across the state of Missouri.

Vision

An organization where every MONG member is treated with dignity and respect, sexual assault is unacceptable and proactively prevented, and survivors are empowered to heal and thrive. We envision a force free from the trauma of sexual assault, allowing all service members and Airmen to reach their full potential and contribute to mission success.

Values

The Missouri National Guard SAPRO operates with a core set of values that guide our every action. We demonstrate unwavering respect for the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals, approaching our work with deep compassion and providing empathetic support to those affected by sexual assault. Integrity is paramount, ensuring honesty, transparency, and accountability in all we do. We champion courage, encouraging reporting, proactive intervention, and a willingness to challenge harmful behaviors. Recognizing the strength within those who have experienced trauma, we foster resilience and empower survivors to rebuild their lives. Ultimately, we are dedicated to service, prioritizing the needs of our Missouri National Guard community and striving to create a force free from the impact of sexual assault.
