Chief Master Sgt. Jessica Settle
Chief Master Sgt. Jessica L. Settle is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the Missouri National Guard at Joint Force Headquarters in Jefferson City, Mo. As the senior enlisted advisor to The Adjutant General, she provides critical counsel on issues impacting the readiness, training, professional development, health, morale, welfare, and effective utilization of more than 8,500 enlisted Soldiers and Airmen. Chief Settle leads the enlisted force with a focus on developing agile, resilient leaders and strengthening the force’s operational readiness. She works closely with joint headquarters staff, commanders, and senior leaders to shape policy, guide enlisted initiatives, and advance the priorities of the Missouri National Guard.
Chief Master Sgt. Settle entered the Regular Air Force in October 1996 and graduated from the Aerospace Medical Services Specialist Technical School at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in May 1997. During her active-duty tenure, she served as an aerospace medical service technician, providing critical medical support to operational units. In 2008, she was assigned to the 509th Bomb Wing, where she developed medical training programs and exercise scenarios in support of wing operations. After 12 years of active-duty service, Chief Settle transitioned to the Missouri Air National Guard, continuing her career as an aerospace medical service technician. In 2010, she was hand-selected to establish the first squadron medical element within the 131st Operations Group, setting a new standard for medical readiness support within the unit. Her career includes key leadership roles, including service as the 131st Bomb Wing human resource advisor and the senior enlisted leader for the 131st Medical Group , where she directed the management of enlisted personnel to meet both home station and expeditionary mission requirements. She later served as the Command Chief for the 131st Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base and Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station, Missouri.
Prior to assuming her current position, the chief was the State Command Chief Master Sergeant for the Missouri Air National Guard at Joint Force Headquarters in Jefferson City, Mo.
