CW5 Isom Folsom
Chief Warrant Officer Five Isom E. Folsom is a native of Stover, Missouri
Where he resides with his wife Julie. He has three grown children.
Chief Warrant Officer Five Folsom enlisted in the Missouri Army National
Guard in 1986 as a Cannon Crewmember and climb up the ranks to Sergeant
First Class (E7) as a Human Resources Non-Commissioned Officer. In 2003,
he attended and graduated from the Army Warrant Officer School (WOCS)
at Fort Rucker, Alabama and received his Warrant Officer appointment 2003.
He attended the U.S. Adjutant General Human Resources Technician Training
at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in 2004.
Chief Warrant Officer Five Folsom's recent assignments include G1 Human
Resources Chief, Joint Forces headquarters; Human Resources Technician,
35th Combat Aviation Brigade; and AGR Manager, Joint Forces Headquarters.
During these assignments he served as a Brigade Victims advocate, Casualty
Assistance and Notification Officer. His prior enlisted service assignments
included Personnel Sergeant with the 35

Combat Aviation Brigade,

Aviation Battalion, 35
th
Engineer Brigade and the 135th Field Artillery
Brigade.
Chief Warrant Five Folsom’s deployments include Operation Enduring
Freedom, Kuwait (2012-2013), Operation Enduring Freedom/Spartan Shield with
duty in Kuwait/Iraq (2018-2019). Chief Warrant Officer Five Folsom has
received several military awards including the Meritorious Service Medal with 4
Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army
Achievement Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal with
1 Bar, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters,
National Defense Service Medal with One Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces
Reserve Medal with Gold Hour Glass, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M
Device and numeral #2, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Global War on
Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal,
Overseas Service Medal with numeral 2 Device, Army Service Ribbon,
Non-Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon with numeral 3, Missouri
Long Service Ribbon 6 Award (35 Years), Missouri Expeditionary Ribbon, Missouri
